Catalyst Set Up


Step 1

Download Catalyst to your phone: iPhone or Android

After downloading the app, take a few minutes play with the “example student” before your orientation to get familiar with Catalyst.

*Please note that data is to be taken via the Catalyst APP ONLY, never through the Catalyst Website.

Review the below presentation to become more familiar with the Catalyst App.


Step 3 - Data Collection Procedures

See your welcome email for your login to Catalyst.

All Smartphone users:

  • Go to your App store and type in “Catalyst”. The icon is a red ‘C’ that looks like an apple.

  • If you are new to Catalyst, take some time to download and play with the “Example Student” profile.

  • If you need additional assistance downloading this app, please refer to the Catalyst PowerPoint attached to this email.

  • Please note that we only use the app version of Catalyst, not the website.

  • Never change your PIN or password, as we need to have them on file to help you with billing, data or technical issues you may have.

When you are taking data during your session:

  • Data is most accurate when taken digitally as the session is occurring. Otherwise, you will need to enter the data using the provided data sheets. Please remember that paper data should only be taken in instances where Catalyst is not available.

  • Data must be taken completed during the session while you are running programs and working with the child.

  • The blank Pairing/Rapport Building data sheet is only applicable for the first couple of sessions before you begin implementing programs. Once you begin implementing programs, you will need to use the client’s data sheet complete with current programs if you need to take paper data.

  • Please print a few copies and keep them available at the family’s home to ensure that they are always available.

  • Please send all paper data sheets to data@appliedABC.com and CC your Case Manager as soon as possible after your session is over.

  • Data is necessary for ALL sessions to be valid for payment. This includes supervision sessions, and very 1st sessions where you will be working on pairing.

  • If you have any questions or concerns about Catalyst or have any issues during your sessions, please contact your Case Manager.
